Mica Plate (Gin-yo)

This is used for heating wood chips or kneaded incense over charcoal in an ash-filled ceramic bowl, in a portable wood chip heater, or on an electric wood-chip heater.

A mica plate (Gin-yo) is made of genuine mica-stone for the maximum heat resistance. Gin-yo means a "silvery leaf".
